Topping up faster than the heat explains it?
Above 38°C in a Perth summer, evaporation runs about 5–8mm a day. If your pool drops faster than that — or keeps dropping through a mild week — the water is going somewhere it shouldn’t.
WA permanent water rules allow top-up only to replace evaporation. A pool consistently topping above that is operating outside the rules, and a Water Corporation high-bill alert often follows. Our written report is formatted to support a Water Corp dispute and an insurance claim.
