Tier A — Standard Diagnostic

3-hour booking, am or pm

  • Visual and dye inspection of shell, fittings, skimmer, lights, returns
  • Pressure test of suction and return lines, above and below ground
  • Acoustic ground-microphone trace if a line leak is indicated
  • Skimmer-box vacuum-and-pressure test
  • Written PDF report within 24 hours, formatted for Water Corporation high-bill dispute and insurance claims
  • Repair quote if the leak is found and repairable

Tier B — Comprehensive Diagnostic

3.5-hour booking, mornings only

  • Everything in Tier A
  • In-pool inspection with full air-supplied breathing apparatus, PADI Open Water certified diver
  • Dye trace at depth, structural shell crack and expansion-joint check
  • Equipment bay pressure test — filter, multi-port valve, heater interface
  • Extended report with diver findings and photo annotation
  • Find no leak, get $100 back

Building or renovating?

If you’re about to lay honed concrete or paving over the pool plumbing, the service you want is a pre-pour pressure test, not a diagnostic — every line proved to hold, with a signed Pipe Pressure Test Certificate. Above-ground from $245, underground from $345, combined $495.

The booking flow shows your exact total before you confirm. The travel surcharge for your postcode is calculated automatically when you enter it at the start of the booking.

$99 deposit

Held against your booking when you confirm. Applied to your total at completion. If we cancel, you’re refunded in full. If you reschedule, the deposit stays held against the new slot.

No-leak refund

Tier B only: if both the pressure test and the dive find no leak, we refund $100. Tier A doesn’t include this guarantee — the dive is what makes the difference.

Operating hours

  • Mon–Fri: 8am–4pm. Tier A am or pm. Tier B mornings only.
  • Saturday: 8am–12pm. Morning only.
  • Sunday: closed.

Tier B is morning-only because the dive plus full inspection genuinely fills a half day.

Perth metropolitan area, Two Rocks to Mandurah. Outside metro by arrangement — email bookings@pooldoctors.au with your address and we’ll quote travel.

Winter rescheduling

If forecast or conditions on the day make accurate testing impossible, we reschedule at no charge. You’ll have at least 24 hours notice and your deposit stays held against the new slot. Heavy rain, temperatures below 12°C, or anything else that compromises pressure-test accuracy will trigger a reschedule offer the day before.
